BEST HOME ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINES AND COFFEE GRINDERS

What is it exactly you like about coffee? Is it the preparation and relaxing brewing techniques with your espresso machine or is it the peace and quiet you have sipping that first coffee at home in the morning?

Whether you've got a capsule coffee machine, automatic coffee machine, Espresso Coffee Machine or even an Manual Coffee Machine, we all LOVE our coffee moments. We all live busy lives, from children to endless hours working one or multiple jobs, a moment to stand still and take a sip of a thick rich espresso or the creamy, full mouth feel of a latte.

The love of that smell of freshly ground coffee and some beautiful latte art has extended beyond the cafe environment. Enthusiasts and coffee drinkers are beginning to grab their favourite coffee beans and heading home to their own Coffee Grinders and either a fully automatic coffee machine, coffee maker or a pro coffee machine to be their own barista brewing a cup of coffee from home.

The home espresso coffee machine market has boomed, and never has there been so many amazing coffee machines available to choose from. Commercial Built Machines, packaged into home size units are now available from most commercial manufactures, one of the most important kitchen appliances you'll have on your bench!

Manual machines are our speciality, and by manual we refer to cafe style machines with group heads. These machines in many ways are a commercial coffee machine in a home espresso machine size which take up less bench space and consume less power. So they have either a heat exchange or dual boiler setups meaning you can do coffee and steam simultaneously.

Temperature is controlled by either a pressure stat, or a pid. And pumps are either vibrating, or commercial rotary pumps. These coffee machines for home produce awesome results, but do require more effort than a fully automatic one button machine. Paired with an awesome grinder and you have a cafe setup at home!

For the real coffee fanatics, we have manual lever coffee machines too. These require a lot more skill and love to operate, but when you get them right there is really no comparison.

The quality of coffee produces is insane and this makes it all worth it. If levers are you thing, then the Olympia Cremina is it. Google it, do your research, and you will find the most loyal fanatics globally expressing this love for this tiny units.

Our relationship with an extensive range of coffee parts suppliers has allowed us to have the ability to carry nearly any espresso machine ever produced, so the task of selecting a range was huge.

We based our selection for the best home coffee machine on many factors including: build quality, performance, test conducted at factory, longevity, and the morals/ethics of the manufacturing companies. This last point actually meant we choose not to carry some manual coffee machines as the ethics of the manufactures did not resonate with the beliefs and vision of Pedro Lara and Coffee Parts.

Do we have favourites, yes of course. For under 1k you just can beat the Rancilio Silvia, 1-2k the NS Oscar II, 2-4k the Rockets really outperform all machines, 4-10k the La Marzocco GS3 is the machine to have, and 10+ k there is only one machine, the Kees Speedster.

This machine is beyond amazing in all areas, and we are super bias and in love with this unit. Thankfully our contacts and reach has allowed us to carry an amazing range of not only Italian coffee machine, but machines the Slayer from America, Cremina from Switzerland and the Kees Van der Westen dream machine Netherlands!

What is the best home coffee machine?

It comes down to how much you want to spend. If you're chasing an espresso identical to something you'd get you might want to spend a little more on a machine such as La Marzocco or rocket. However, many brands such as Gaggia and Rancilio have beautiful entry level machines which will get you that caffeine hit you need!

What accessories should I get for my espresso machine?

Coffee Scales are the ultimate accessory. Scales with built in timers to measure weight in and yield, the timers can help to adjust the grinder! We always recommend buying a high quality grinder as this is the real secret to optimal extraction!
