Home Coffee Machines

The home espresso coffee machine market has boomed, and never has there been so many amazing coffee machines available to choose from. Commercial built machines, packaged into home size units are now available from most commercial manufactures, this makes us smile and your kitchen bench the home of coffee.

Manual machines are our speciality, and by manual we refer to cafe style machines with group heads. These machines in many ways are a commercial coffee machine in a home espresso machine size which take up less bench space and consume less power. So they have either a heat exchange or dual boiler setups meaning you can do coffee and steam simultaneously. Temperature is controlled by either a pressure stat, or a pid. And pumps are either vibrating, or commercial rotary pumps. These machine produce awesome results, but do require more effort than a fully automatic one button machine. Paired with an awesome grinder and you have a cafe setup at home!

For the real coffee fanatics, we have manual lever coffee machines too. These require a lot more skill and love to operate, but when you get them right there is really no comparison. The quality of coffee produces is insane and this makes it all worth it. If levers are you thing, then the Olympia Cremina is it. Google it, do your research, and you will find the most loyal fanatics globally expressing this love for this tiny units.

Our relationship with an extensive range of coffee parts suppliers has allowed us to have the ability to carry nearly any espresso machine ever produced, so the task of selecting a range was huge. We based our selection for the best home coffee machine on many factors including: build quality, performance, test conducted at factory, longevity, and the morals/ethics of the manufacturing companies. This last point actually meant we choose not to carry some manual coffee machines as the ethics of the manufactures did not resonate with the beliefs and vision of Pedro Lara and Coffee Parts.

Do we have favourites, yes of course. For under 1k you just can beat the Rancilio Silvia, 1-2k the NS Oscar II, 2-4k the Rockets really outperform all machines, 4-10k the La Marzocco GS3 is the machine to have, and 10+ k there is only one machine, the Kees Speedster. This machine is beyond amazing in all areas, and we are super bias and in love with this unit. Thankfully our contacts and reach has allowed us to carry an amazing range of not only Italian coffee machine, but machines the Slayer from America, Cremina from Switzerland and the Kees van der Westen dream machine Netherlands!

We have been able to choose the hero lineup based on love and not market pressures, and this really comes down to the founder Dom Lara succeeded by his son Pedro Lara building a business on love of coffee.
