Description

Rocket Espresso Giotto/Cellini Chrome Steam/Hot-Water Valve Assembly

A Rocket Espresso chrome steam/hot-water valve assembly for selected Giotto and Cellini V2 espresso machines. Part A229905055 is the later valve version specified by Rocket from serial number D1224G2V3181.

The valve controls the flow to the machine's steam or hot-water circuit. Replacement may be required when the original valve is worn, leaking, damaged or no longer opening and closing correctly.

Compatibility is serial-specific. Rocket lists A227704280 for machines before the D1224G2V3181 changeover and A229905055 from that serial onwards. Confirm the machine serial number and relevant parts diagram before ordering.

This listing is for the valve assembly itself. The complete steam wand, hot-water wand, handles and complete wand-and-tap assemblies are identified separately in Rocket parts documentation. Installation by a qualified technician is recommended for work on the machine's pressurised steam and water system.

    Coffee Parts Thoughts:

The serial number is the important detail with this valve. A229905055 is the later version from D1224G2V3181, while earlier machines use a different valve. Check the machine serial before ordering rather than relying on Giotto or Cellini model name alone, and have pressure-system servicing completed by a qualified technician.
