Everything for the brew, chosen to work together on day one.

Pour over, AeroPress, cold brew and scale bundles, matched by people who've been doing this since 1999.

TL;DR: A coffee brewing kit bundles a brewer with the grinder, filters or scale it needs. Sets include the Chemex 10 Cup Classic and the AeroPress with Timemore C3 grinder.

A coffee brewing kit saves you the hardest part of starting out: working out which grinder, filter and kettle actually belong together. The brew bundles on this page pair each brewer with the pieces it needs, so a Chemex arrives with its filters and an AeroPress arrives with a Timemore C3 hand grinder. We've been matching this gear since 1999, and these coffee kits are the combinations we'd hand a friend. Below: how to choose, and where each fits.

What a brew bundle gets right that a shopping cart doesn't

Filter coffee is governed by water, time and grind, not pump pressure, so the brewer is only ever one part of the result. The Chemex 10 Cup Classic sets pair the one-piece hourglass borosilicate brewer, with its polished wood collar and leather tie, with either a 100 pack of Chemex filters or an Able Kone. The Kalita 101 Copper Flat-V set ships with Kalita 101 filters cut for its fan shape, and the Kalita 185 Ceramic set, made in Hasami porcelain, comes with Wave filters sized to its flat bed. None of that pairing is guesswork: filter shape decides how fast water leaves the bed, which is why we match them in the box.

Grind and measurement come along for the ride

The AeroPress Coffee Maker Kit with a Timemore C3 grinder covers the two variables most new brewers get wrong: freshness and grind size. Jessica Easto's Craft Coffee: A Manual walks through the AeroPress in both its classic and inverted setups, and a hand grinder is what makes either one repeatable. On the measuring side, the Acaia Pearl Protect Kit adds a fitted protective film to a scale that tracks weight, time and flow rate as you brew. We know these combinations because we've been selling and servicing the components since 1999. If a grinder on its own is what you need, our hand grinders for filter brewing are sorted by grind range.

Start with the coffee you want to drink

Clean and bright, in a batch you can share? The Chemex 10 Cup Classic Pour Over Coffee Kit is the easy answer, with a version that swaps the paper filters for an Able Kone. One or two cups at a time? The Kalita 101 Copper Flat-V Dripper brews one to two cups and comes with its own filters, while the Origami Air Dripper Medium with AS Holder is the resin version of the Mino-made porcelain original, designed for home brewing without complicated gear. The Timemore Crystal Eye Glass Brew Set takes a different approach again: its smooth upper wall keeps the filter attached so water moves evenly through the bed. Whichever you choose, pair it with the right filter papers and a gooseneck kettle such as the Stagg EKG 900ml.

Going portable

The AeroPress Coffee Maker Kit inc Timemore C3 Grinder is the set we point most travellers to: compact, sturdy, minimal mess, and the grinder means fresh grounds wherever you wake up. The Cafe de Kona Outdoor Coffee Set comes from a Shanghai brand founded in 2013 that focuses on handmade brewing equipment. The Bellman Starter Bundle takes another route: the CX25P stovetop maker in 18/10 stainless steel runs on gas, induction and electric stovetops or a campfire, and textures milk through its own steam wand. For a wider look at no-power setups, see our camping and outdoor brewing range.

Cold, in volume

The Alto Batch Brew Starter Kit is a cold brew kit built for a shop rather than a kitchen: a brew vessel with spigot, drain basket and lid, a pack of filters, cable ties and a commercial quick-start guide. Just add coffee and water. If you're brewing cold at home, our cold brew brewers page covers the smaller formats.

Measuring, frothing and an honest steer

The Acaia Lunar Kit and the MHW-3Bomber Cube 2.0 WiWo Scale Combo are weigh-in, weigh-out sets for an espresso bench, and they sit here because many brew bars live next to a machine. The Subminimal NanoFoamer Lithium and FlowTip Milk Jug set makes microfoam for a flat white without a steam wand; see frothers for the brew bar for the rest. Two things people search for that live elsewhere: a tamper-and-tools barista kit for a machine you already own, and a nespresso descaling kit or descaler for any pod or espresso machine. Both sit under Accessories. We'd rather send you to the right page than sell you the wrong box.

Coffee Parts is the exclusive distributor of Timemore in Australia. Timemore was the Top Sponsor of the 2025 World Brewers Cup in Jakarta, the most competitive filter coffee event in the world, and the Timemore Crystal Eye Glass Brew Set and Chuiwen Server Set on this page come to you through that relationship. See the full Timemore range.

Rounding out a bundle

A kit covers the core. Three additions finish the brew bar: a brew bar scale to weigh water and time the bloom, a gooseneck kettle for pour control if your set doesn't include one, and a server sized to the dripper. The Timemore Chuiwen Server Set already pairs a 400ml borosilicate server with two cups. Keep a spare set of filters on the shelf, and if your grinder is a Porlex Mini 2 or Tall 2, the Porlex II Complete Burr Kit is the original ceramic burr set for when the burrs eventually dull.

I grew up in this business, and the pattern hasn't changed: someone walks into Pagewood with a beautiful dripper they were given and nothing to go with it. A kitchen kettle. Pre-ground coffee from the supermarket. Then they wonder why the cup tastes thin. The bundles on this page exist because of those conversations. Every set here has been tested as a set, not assembled from a spreadsheet. If a combination wouldn't make the coffee I'd want on a Sunday morning, it isn't on this page. Pedro Lara, Coffee Parts

Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in a coffee brewing kit? +

It depends on the brewer. The Chemex 10 Cup Classic sets include the brewer plus either a 100 pack of Chemex filters or an Able Kone. The Kalita 101 Copper Flat-V set includes the dripper and 100 sheets of Kalita 101 filters. The AeroPress Coffee Maker Kit adds a Timemore C3 hand grinder. Scale sets such as the Acaia Pearl Protect Kit bundle the scale with its fitted protective film. Each product page lists exactly what is in the box, and we don't bundle anything you'd need to replace on arrival.

Which glass or ceramic brewer suits a first-time filter drinker: Chemex, Kalita or Origami? +

If you brew for more than one person, the Chemex 10 Cup Classic gives you a clean, bright pot and looks the part on the bench. For one or two cups, the Kalita 101 Copper Flat-V is sized for exactly that. The Origami Air Dripper Medium is the lightest of the three, a resin version of the Mino-made porcelain dripper, designed for home brewing without fuss or complicated gear. All three arrive with the filters or holder they need.

Can I take the AeroPress and Timemore C3 bundle camping? +

Yes. The AeroPress is compact, sturdy and produces minimal mess, and the Timemore C3 hand grinder needs no power, so the pair works anywhere you can boil water. If you want milk drinks off-grid, the Bellman Starter Bundle's CX25P runs on a campfire as well as gas, induction and electric stovetops and has its own steam wand. The Cafe de Kona Outdoor Coffee Set is the third option built with travel in mind.

Do I really need a gooseneck kettle for pour over? +

Not to start, but it is the upgrade most people notice first. A gooseneck such as the Stagg EKG Electric Gooseneck Kettle 900ml controls flow rate and where the water lands on the bed, which is the half of the brew the dripper can't control for you. Anette Moldvaer's The Coffee Book advises experimenting with grind size so water takes long enough to pass through the bed; a gooseneck gives you the other lever.

What do I need for espresso at home? +

A machine, a grinder that can grind fine enough, a scale, a tamper fitted to your basket and filtered water. On this page the Acaia Lunar Kit and the MHW-3Bomber Cube 2.0 WiWo Scale Combo cover weighing in and weighing out. Tamper-and-tool sets live under our barista kits in Accessories, and machines under Coffee Machines. If you aren't sure the espresso route is for you, an AeroPress or Bellman bundle here is a lower-commitment way to find out.

What is the 30 second rule for espresso? +

It is the rule of thumb that a shot should take roughly half a minute to pour once the pump starts. Treat it as a starting point, not a law: the weight of coffee in and liquid out, and how the shot tastes, matter more than the clock. A scale that shows time as you brew, such as the Acaia Lunar with its real-time flow rate display, lets you see all three at once and adjust the grind until the shot is dialled in.

Is the Alto Batch Brew Starter set a cold brew kit for cafés or for home? +

Cafés. Alto Cold Brew, founded by Matt Bushman and Joey Ruiz, built it to start or expand a cold brew program in a shop: a large brew vessel with spigot, drain basket and lid, fifty filters, cable ties and a commercial quick-start guide. You add coffee and water. For a household, the smaller brewers on our cold brew page are the better fit, and we're happy to help you size either.
