The fully automatic coffee machine for rapid brewing

If you love coffee but find brewing up a Pour Over takes way too much time or even if using an espresso machines is tedious, we've got a range of the best automatic coffee machines for your busy lifestyle.

When we look at automatic coffee machines you might turn up your nose as its not considered a worthy kitchen appliance like your typical espresso or Manual Espresso Machine. Believe it or not the world of coffee is pushing more towards automation than ever before, Tampers, Frothing Milk and now super automatic espresso machines, all at the press of a button!

These semi automatic coffee machines offer something unique compared to the common espresso makers you see in most homes and cafes. They have become extremely popular in office spaces which allows anyone to brew coffee, at the push of a button you can have yourself a latte, macchiato, cappuccino you name it! These machines have the ability to milk Foam Automatically with their inbuilt steam wands.

Some of our favourite fully automatic coffee machines from Melitta have smart phone connect-ability which allows you to manage your coffee machine from your smart phone. Melitta connect provides easy to clean tutorials and brewing tips. Use your smart phone to select from either of the two bean hoppers which you may fill with two different roast profiles!

These machines are space saves, taking up minimal room on your kitchen bench. With removable water tanks there is no need for on bench plumbing a very easy machine to install and operate.

Many single dose coffee machines like capsule machines which require a coffee pod may seem easy, cheap to purchase and incredibly to use. However, this is the common misconception when purchasing a capsule machine, if you break down the cost of brewing you will find that by outlaying a little more on a machine that uses coffee beans, you will save yourself some serious money!

The price per cup can be 2-3x more than if you are to use fresh beans from a local roaster or coffee shop! I have had this experience in the past when purchasing coffee pods for a machine i had throughout university which worked well for a rapid caffeine hit between lectures! Before purchasing a a coffee machine of any type, spend some time doing the maths, work out your cost of running, price per cup and machine maintenance costs.

The fully automatic coffee machine is the one for you if you love your coffee but prefer the precision of brewing to be left out of your hands! So what are you waiting for? Grab one or two bags of your favourite roast and begin your brewing!!

What is the best automatic coffee machine?

Some of our favourite automatic coffee machines include the Melitta Barista TS Smart, Melitta Barista T Smart, Gaggia Cadorna plus. Although they are our top recommendations, what we love for budget conscious customers are the Melitta solo & milk and Melitta Purista fully automatic coffee machines which deliver a great brewing experience at a fraction of the cost.

Can I use decaf coffee in my automatic coffee machine?

Most of these fully automatic coffee machines have a bypass doser with a measured scoop so that you wont find yourself trying to empty the bean hopper, purge all the grounds out and begin again. These bypass dosers are usually located on the top of the machine next to the bean hopper, which only require you to scoop your pre ground decaf or alternative coffee grounds and pour directly into.
