Manual Coffee machines for brewing wherever in the world.

Portable coffee makers are like gifts from the heavens. With little effort, portable coffee machines help you prepare amazing shots, with a quality close to that of a traditional espresso machine.

This way you don’t give up your daily pleasure no matter where you are. Especially as traditional espresso machines are awesome, yet not very portable. As we know there isn't always a speciality coffee shop around, especially in the suburbs.

Whether you’re a camper, hiker, bouncing between hotels or need something a little more portable. What’s your plan of attack?

There are a tonne of innovative brewing units appearing on the market almost daily! Whether the manual espresso machine doesn't quite fit into your lifestyle for whatever reason, we stock 101 alternatives. Anything from a lever machine like the flair espresso maker to aeropress which only need a little hot water and some fresh coffee beans.

Selecting your manual brewing unit is all about knowing what style of coffee you enjoy, whether that be Cold Brew, Pour Over or Syphon Coffee. By matching the coffee preference, you would order at your local cafe with a brewing unit that has the ability to produce a similar result, you'll have no problems.

Many new apartments or flats have such small kitchenettes that traditional Espresso Machines may not fit. The perfect solution? Portable espresso coffee makers! They are not just for wild adventurers!

However, for those adventurers who love exploring and trekking the world camping in exotic locations don't worry, a perfect cup of espresso is still possible. There are plenty of lever espresso machines, travel plungers and stainless-steel stovetop brewers that only need hot water and some ground coffee before you've got a delicious cup! Our range includes brands such as Aeropress, Bialetti, Wacaco and Flair Espresso. Some of the most popular little ultra-portable camping coffee makers and camping espresso shot machines are the Wacaco Nanopresso, Leverpress, Handpresso and Staresso.

Many of these ultra-portable hand coffee machines are super easy to clean and have a tiny touchpoint on this earth.

What is an aeropress?

AeroPress is one impressive bit of gear to say the least. Compact, sturdy, produces minimal mess, I mean what else could you want? Oh yep that right, it also makes a damn good cup of coffee. Coffee grounds are brewed with full immersion and then pushed through a paper filter (or metal filters), to create a smooth, rich and grit-free coffee. The whole process takes just two minutes from ‘go to flow'. This little device gives you access to numerous brewing methods and caters to an extensive range of coffee preferences.

What is a Wacaco Nanopresso?

Wacaco have designed one hell of a brewing unit for those espresso lovers on the go. The Nanopresso is a handheld, lightweight brewing unit which is perfect to get you a dose of caffeine in no time at all. This handheld device can reach a maximum capacity of 18 bars of pressure throughout extraction to give you a high quality espresso shot. With a scoop which fits the perfect 8g for the basket, it’s super easy to prep. Once the basket is filled with finely ground coffee, the reverse side of the scoop is used as the tamper, then it’s 20-30 pumps before you’ve got yourself an espresso!

Is the Bialetti Moka pot good for outdoors?

The Moka produces a rich, authentic espresso in just minutes. It’s typical brew is a viscous, denser (stronger) coffee. This brew is much stronger, more like the strength of espresso brewed coffee, hence the name stovetop espresso. The moka pot has become incredibly popular for travelling due to its durability and portability. Fill with water, drop some freshly ground beans in and throw it over an open fire or gas stove and within 5 minutes you’ll have yourself a strong espresso. The moka pot has multiple cup sizes to choose from, ranging up to 16 cups, perfect for travelling with friends!
